Kick-off of the F16 Global challenge on Monday (I'll be reporting with a little delay as I'm in Europe and have to wait untill the morning to do a first report...).

The first boats went onto the water today to do final rig checks and to get used to the Tampa Bay. The wind was blowing 18 with gusts to 25 knots, so not really a warm up . Some liked it, I guess others might be wishing Hurricane Ida would go away...

Competition promises to be though as a lot of top teams (read team as 1 or 2-up...) will be on the starting line on Tuesday.
Both Greg and Brett Goodall and their local distributor are present on Vipers, Team McDonald of Falcon Marine LLC is sailing the new Falcon and local toppers Olli Jason/Patrick and Olli/Joanna will be sailing Blades.Also a lot of different designs are expected on the starting line, but as we are still awaiting the final entry list nothing is yet confirmed.
