Update: November 29: new dates + preliminary event schedule!

Two time great news for the F16 class today!

First of all the class is now an official recognised ISAF class, again proving the stable growth of the class.

Secondly we can also announce the 2011 F16 world championships venue.
The world championships, organised by the freshly formed French class association, will be held from 23rd till 30th of July in Bordeaux. The Cercle de Voile de Bordedeaux is the hosting club, well-known for hosting other big championships in the past.

The preliminary event schedule:

• Saturday 23rd July - Measuring and registration
• Sunday 24th July - Measuring and registration
• Monday 25th July - Registration and measuring till 11.00 and practice race not before 2pm
• Tuesday 26th July - Race 1,2,3
• Wednesday 27th July - Race 4,5,6
• Thursday 28th July - Race 7,8,9
• Friday 29th July - Race 10,11,12  + Prize giving

• All races will not start before 2.00 pm each day. This schedule may be changed if deemed necessary. More details, including the social program and the NOR will be published shortly.
